Biography:


Dr. Jian Yang is a Principal Lecturer at the School of Biomedical Sciences at the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Yang graduated from Peking University Health Science Center and went on to pursue a PhD in neuroscience at the University of Bristol.  He is the head of anatomy education, Deputy Director of EdTech HKUMed, and Coordinator of the HKU Body Donation Programme. He dedicates his effort to converting instructional anatomy and histology classes into indispensable active learning experience. 



Dr. Bryant Lin is a primary care physician, researcher, educator, and humanist at heart. Diagnosed with non-smoker lung cancer in 2024, Dr. Lin now dedicates much of his time to teaching about his journey from physician to patient.

Dr. Aron D. Rose is a musical composer and board-certified ophthalmologist. A former Yale professor, he taught globally and was the youngest faculty member of Project Orbis in 1989. He directed Residency Training at Yale and has published widely in ophthalmology.

As the first female dean of HKUMed, Rosie Tse Tse Young is a trailblazer in Hong Kong healthcare, also serving as Pro-Vice-Chancellor at HKU and earning honors like OBE, CBE, GBS, and GBM.
