Alston Lam

Alston is a Year 2 MBBS student at the University of Hong Kong. Previously studying in Sevenoaks School in London, he has always had a great passion for writing, particularly analysing literature and writing creative prose about the coming-of-age experience. Believing that words and stories are immensely powerful in their ability to simultaneously encapsulate experience and open up perspectives, he is eager to delve into projects that spark dialogue, bridge divides, and inspire change as one of Ethos’ senior editors. Beyond academics, Alston enjoys exploring cute new restaurants with friends, escaping life in music and spending quality time with family and friends.
