Cherene Lo

Head of Multimedia

Cherene is a third-year MBChB student at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. As Head of Multimedia at Ethos, she leads a team of editors in producing the Ethos podcast and visual storytelling projects.

She is eager to explore how media and narrative can reframe the discourse of healthcare, using storytelling to cultivate empathy, reflection, and a deeper understanding of the human experience in medicine. She is particularly interested in how sharing personal stories, lived experiences, and diverse voices can give visibility to underrepresented perspectives and foster dialogue between clinicians and patients, promoting a more compassionate and person-centred approach to care. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her pets, watching films, and following the Formula 1 season.
