Nicholas Wong
Managing Editor
Nick is a part-time Master in Advanced Pharmacy student with a full-time role in medical affairs within the cardiometabolic health sector. An MBiol graduate from the University of Oxford, he previously served as editor-in-chief of the Jesus College Arts Magazine.
As the Managing Editor for Ethos, Nick aims to actively engage interdisciplinary perspectives between medical professionals, patients, and the pharmaceutical industry by cultivating a vibrant editorial culture that encourages curiosity, creativity, and ethical reflection among contributors and readers alike. He is passionate about exploring ethical questions in research and consciousness, connecting his background in entomology and animal behavior to broader bioethical discussions.
Outside of academia, Nick enjoys playing in a band blending experimental rock with his classical training, and is an avid reader; his favorite books including The Sympathizer and The Empire of Pain. As an obsessive climber, if he is not in the band room or catching up on lectures after work, he is often found on a piece of rock outdoors.
